The Heart of My Work
I've always been fascinated by relationships—what helps people feel connected, what pulls them apart, and what allows them to find their way back to each other.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families during some of life's most challenging seasons.
I've lived through loss, remarriage, parenting, and major life transitions, so my expertise comes with a healthy dose of experience. I know firsthand how powerful it can be to have support during times of uncertainty, loss, transition, and growth, and I strive to offer my clients the same grounded support I've received when I've needed it.
My Professional Journey
My path to becoming a therapist began with a deep curiosity about people and relationships—what helps us thrive, why we get stuck, and how we find our way forward when life feels difficult.
Since earning my B.S. in Psychology and M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families through life’s most challenging seasons. I’ve helped clients navigate relationship struggles, anxiety, grief, family conflict, major life transitions, and the patterns that can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and the people we love.
Those experiences have taught me that meaningful change rarely comes from willpower alone. It happens when we understand what’s driving our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—and learn new ways of responding. My role is to help you gain that understanding, build practical tools, and create the kind of relationships and life you want to have.
A Unique Approach to Therapy
I believe that lasting change begins with understanding. Many of the struggles we experience—whether in our relationships or within ourselves—aren't random. They often develop from patterns that once served a purpose but no longer help us create the life or relationships we want.
In my work, I help clients identify and better understand these patterns. Through a process I call Relational Mapping, we explore the ways thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationship dynamics interact with one another. When we can clearly see what's happening beneath the surface, it becomes much easier to make intentional choices and create meaningful change.
Therapy with me is not a one-size-fits-all process. It’s tailored to meet your unique needs, goals, and personal journey. Whether you’re coming in for individual sessions to work on personal growth or joining as a couple to strengthen your relationship, you can expect a collaborative, non-judgmental space where your voice is the most important one in the room.
Why I Do What I Do
Does this sound like the support your looking for?
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: relationships matter. They influence how we see ourselves, how we experience the world, and how we navigate life’s challenges. That’s why I do this work. I believe that when people gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their experiences, and their relationships, meaningful change becomes possible.
I consider it to be a deep privilege to sit with clients in their most vulnerable moments and help them find hope in the hardest circumstances. My goal is to help clients find clarity, strengthen connection, and move toward the life and relationships they want to create.
A Little More About Me
While therapy is an important part of my life, it's certainly not all of who I am. Outside of the therapy room, I'm a wife, a mother, a daughter of immigrants, and a lifelong friend to people from all walks of life..
The smiling photos you see on this website tell part of my story, but not all of it. Like many of the clients I work with, I've experienced seasons of loss, uncertainty, change, and growth. Those experiences have shaped who I am and deepened my appreciation for the strength it takes to ask for help and keep moving forward when life feels difficult.
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, caring for my ever-expanding number of pets, reading a good book, watching a gripping movie, or baking a sweet treat in the kitchen.
